Test of Silent Word Reading Fluency Mather, Hammill, Allen & Roberts (2004) The Test of Silent Word Reading Fluency is used to identify students who may need intensive assessment in fluency and measure developing reading skills. This timed test presents students with rows of words with no boundaries. The task for the students is to put slashes between words.
